Large Timeless Garden, Finchley Brief : To create a comfortable beautiful space , suited to entertaining as well as informal quiet areas. Client Wish List: A large shed, an ornamental vegetable plot, a large patio with BBQ all surrounded by gorgeous planting Solution: The garden needed breaking up proportionately, so I introduced a brick pergola to run across the garden, which would support wisteria and also hide the shed. I used curved paths to soften the harsh rectangular boundary. Planting: A glorious mix of Shrubs, perennials and grasses eg Cotinus, Berberis, Pittisporum, Delphiniums, Heuchera, Penstemon, Calamagrostis, Carex and many more. which would ensure all year round colour and interest
